We Believe...
Jesus Christ is our Lord, and every area of
our life is subject to His Lordship.
Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me,
he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. - Luke 9:23, NIV
- The Bible is the inspired word of God made complete in the
life and teachings of Christ.
- All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching,
rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be
thoroughly equipped for every good work. – 2 Timothy 3:16-17, NIV
- Salvation is the free gift of God but is given to us only
when we accept Christ as the Lord of our life.
- For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16, NIV
- Every believer has direct access to God through Christ.
- Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me." – John 14:6, NIV
- The Holy Spirit of God lives in each redeemed follower of
Christ.
- And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another
Counselor to be with you forever – the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him,
because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and
will be in you. – John 16:13, NIV
- Sharing the Good News is the responsibility of every
Christian.
- Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey
everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the
age. – Matthew 28:19-20, NIV
